Cookie Policy
What this website stores on your device — and what it doesn't.
Short version
This website sets one cookie: the one that records your decision about cookies. We use no tracking, no analytics services, no advertising networks and no social media plugins. Fonts are served from our own server, not an external CDN.
Legal framework
Under Article 73 of the Lithuanian Law on Electronic Communications (Elektroninių ryšių įstatymas) — the national transposition of ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC — information may only be stored on or read from your device with your consent.
Two exceptions apply: the technical transmission of a communication, and cookies strictly necessary for a service you have expressly requested. Anything beyond that requires active consent — no pre-ticked boxes, no treating continued browsing as agreement.
Cookies in use
Strictly necessary
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ox_consent | Orionyx (first-party) | Records your cookie banner decision so the prompt doesn’t reappear on every visit. | 6 months |
| wordpress_logged_in_* | Orionyx (first-party) | Editors only. Not set for visitors. | Session |
The exception for strictly necessary storage applies to these. They are set without separate consent.
Optional
We currently set no optional cookies. If that changes, we’ll list them here and set them only after your active consent.
What we don’t use
- Google Analytics or comparable analytics services
- Google Fonts from external servers — the fonts sit with us
- reCAPTCHA — the contact form’s spam control runs without third parties
- Social media plugins, like buttons, embedded feeds
- Advertising networks, retargeting, conversion pixels
- Videos embedded from external platforms
- Gravatar — disabled, as it transmits email hashes to a US service
Changing your decision
You can change your decision at any time:
Clearing cookies in your browser
Independently of our setting, you can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time. The control sits under „Privacy“ or „Security“ in your settings. This website works without cookies — you’ll simply be asked again on each visit.
